This may be The Last Fripp Post of 2018
Today was not suppose to any good and it wasn't. I went to The Point to play, but by tee off time it was raining. There were only three of us so we went in and sat for half an hour.
I left came home.
I went to the beach and took a video of the Ocean see below. We will be home soon looking forward to our FaceTime on Easter.

March 27th and almost time to turn north
We just talked to Matt and Kennedy. Everything is OK in Toronto, but still cool. Matt said it was raining. In Fripp it is warm enough to walk the dogs in shorts.
The deer are still around ready to welcome any new comers.

Our fun is almost over
Today was the second last tournament day. Our team did not do well but it was a beautiful day.
We met in the clubhouse at The Point and then had our picture taken. First I will show you some picture of the prize giving. If you look closely you will see Trish and Kelly.
Here is a picture of the group.

The Brennan's on Fripp
Before The St Marks Brennan's headed out I got a short video of Kennedy and Quinn riding their bikes. i also got them to stand still for a picture at the marina.
Alligators on the course
Good morning and Happy St. Patrick's Day
Matthew, Jill, Kennedy and Quinn left yesterday. All of a sudden the house is empty and quiet. We all really miss them. This morning we had an email form Matt saying the had arrived safe and sound in West Virginia where it was 0 C.
I have a couple of Alligator pictures for you and a turtle pic.
An Alligator and a Turtle ready for St Patrick's Day.
The other day I took a picture of the other three players in my foursome.
Some time the Alligators are watching us.
Yesterday I had two 8's yet had my best score to date 91. On the 14th I had to take a Dangerous animal relief.

The Brennan's have arrived
On Sunday Matt, Jill, Kennedy and Quinn arrived. I was golfing on the creek and said hello on my way by. When I got home I suggested we go swimming. I was thinking that Sunday afternoon might be the warmest day. Yesterday Monday the 12th of march proved me correct. Matt and I played golf with the only other two golfers in the father and son championship. The Brennan's narrowly defeated The Dyers
We decided to take carts incase we had to hurry back. By the 4th hole we were wet and carted back to the club house. About half and hour later with the sun trying to shine we went out. As we finished the wind was about 15 knots and it was cold. Despite the cold Matt had a number of really good holes and hit the ball very well.
While swimming I took some pictures.

March 10, 2018 has arrived
Today or maybe tomorrow Matt, Jill, Kennedy and Quinn arrive. The weather is beautiful and we are ready. It is just 7:41 and the temperature is 10c or 50f.
Last night we went to the Fripp Island happy hour. It is held at The Beach House. We went once last year, but this year there were about three times the number this year. Most of the Canadians where present. The drinks are expensive while the food is free.

Happy Hour at The Beach Club |
On the way in I took a picture of The Beach Club Pool. It looks very inviting, but is not heated thus not ready for use.
Earlier in the day we were playing at The Creek. The Alligator I took the picture of sitting at the bridge was swimming a round. It looks like I am a lot closer then I actually was. We are all a lot more weary of Alligators when they are moving, so we kept and eye on this guy as he swam and then climbed out of the water.

US/CAN Challenge Cup 2018
Yesterday Bob Neil once again organized a golf tournament between The Frippers and The American Fripp Island residents. It was another beautiful day but windy. My partner was Carmen. Carmen played very well and was named our most valuable player. I did not play very well but did manage to get a couple of points for the team.

Trish and Kelly have been Island Bound
This week they are trimming the trees around power lines on Hunting Island. Presumably this is to protect them during the hurricanes. This meant that the power has been out (Monday to Wednesday) from 9:00 AM to about 2:30 PM.
Trish and Kelly have been island bound because there are delays on the road of up to one hour. Kelly not only cannot go shopping but also is unable to do the laundry.
Paul and Sue Tite braved the delays and traveled out yesterday. They sent out the pictures below.
By the way the way they trim the trees is they hang a power saw from a helicopter.
